About Captain Carson Cook
Captain Carson Cook is a lifelong angler and Jacksonville, Florida local. Growing up on the First Coast, he has spent his entire life fishing the St. Johns River, the Intracoastal Waterway, and the offshore waters of Northeast Florida. His deep knowledge of the local waterways comes from years of hands-on experience chasing everything from redfish and trout in the creeks to kingfish and snapper offshore. Before earning his captain’s license, Carson spent four years as a camp counselor at a local kids’ fishing summer camp. There, he shared his love of fishing with the next generation of anglers, teaching them skills, techniques, and respect for the outdoors. That same patience, enthusiasm, and dedication now carry over into every charter trip he runs.Today, Captain Carson operates a 22-foot Tidewater that is perfectly suited for a wide range of fishing adventures. Whether it’s working the back creeks, exploring the Intracoastal, fishing the nearshore reefs, or targeting wrecks offshore, his boat offers both comfort and versatility.Captain Cook Charters is all about giving guests a fun, safe, and memorable day on the water—whether you’re a first-time angler, a family looking for an adventure, or an experienced fisherman ready to chase trophy catches.
